Energy For Life

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

Everyone has to work. It's a simple necessity - if you want money, you'll have to trade some of your time and effort for it. Hopefully you have a job that you love, and your work is fun for you. Whether you do or not, hobbies are how most of us have our fun and do the things we truly want to do in the world. It may be bowling, or painting, or working on classic cars, but whatever your chosen hobby happens to be, one thing makes a big difference in respect to how much you'll enjoy it:

Your health.

When you're not in tip-top shape work is harder, but so is playing. Without the proper amount of energy, even the most fun activities can become labor in their own ways, sucking the fun right out of them. It's how your health touches everything - it affects your mood, your energy, your focus, and your coordination. Your health determines how much energy you have, and there is literally no aspect of your life not affected by your level of energy.

Studies show that people who have regular hobbies, no matter what they are, tend to be happier, and it isn't hard to figure out why. Our hobbies are expressions of ourselves - many people identify themselves more by what they do for fun than what they do as a career. While simply having a hobby will usually make a person happier, excelling at it can bring unmatched excitement, hapiness, and confidence.

Healthy levels of energy can make your life passions more enjoyable and make you more proficient at them. This is especially true for those who have active, athletic hobbies, but we all know how tiresome even the most stationary activities can be when you just don't feel like holding your head up. When you're energetic, however, you can go the extra mile - spend an extra half-hour practicing your volleyball game, climb an extra ten feet up the rock wall or get a dozen pages further in your book. More energy helps you to achieve new heights and enjoy your life to a much deeper level.

The same also goes for your work life. Few things are worse than having to work when the only thing you feel like doing is crawling back in bed and getting an extra hour of sleep, or plopping down in a comfortable chair. Having energy to spare will help you work harder with more ease, be more proficient at your job, and makes you mroe likely to be successful and get a promotion. Of course, having energy will also affect your attitude - when you're awake and ready to go the jobs you don't really care for aren't quite so bad, and you'll be happier and more positive during your workday.

Energy affects every aspect of our lives and can make our passions either enjoyable escapes from toiling, or simple acts of labor. It can mean the difference between coming up a half-mile short in that marathon, or crossing the finish line in first. It's the difference between experiencing life on a richer, deeper level or simply adding to list of things to do.

If you want to make sure you have the energy you need to enjoy the pleasures in life, one thing you can do is drink 4 ounces of GoChi Juice every day. Clinical studies have shown that, in 14 days, GoChi Juice can significantly improve your energy, athletic performance, and mental focus.
