Better Health in 10 Minutes or Less

Better health: we all want it, but not all of us are willing to work for it. Here are five great ways you can get better health that all take 10 minutes or less.

1.) Choose one unhealthy snack in your home and replace with a healthy one. The next time you go to the grocery store take a trip down the produce aisle and pass the Little Debbies. Look through the apples, bananas, melons, strawberries and nuts and find something else to snack on. it is VERY important, however, that you make sure it is something you like!

2.) Park way out in the parking lot. You probably spend about five minutes looking around for that perfect spot anyway, when what you have is a great opportunity to get some exercise. Pick one of the farthest spots (they're always empty) and walk it. The two-way will do more good for your weight and your heart than you think.

3.) Do 20 sit-ups and 20 push-ups a day. These exercises don't take very long, but are highly effective at using a lot of muscle in a small amount of time. If you do a few of these everyday you'll be stimulating all of those muscles, which will help you tone and lose weight, as well as working out your heart. As you get better at them, do more a day.

4.) Do the puzzles in your newspaper. Our brain often gets neglected when we think of improving our health, but it needs to be worked just like every other muscle in our body.
